Community Police

Concept of Community Police/ Civil Defence: Along with the economical growth in Bangalore, Antisocial activities are also growing and creating the threat to social security of common man. The Karnataka State as whole has 75000 police personnel, which has to bear the burden of security problems faced by 625 millions. Considering this serious situation, the concept of "Community Police" has been proposed with the permission of D.G.P. Karnataka Government and direction has been issued to all the DCP's in operations.
The Central idea behind this concept is that the citizen falling under jurisdiction of a particular Police Station will manage effective assistance to the Police.

Selfless committed work: The CP will become an effective counsellor in the problems of family disputes, petty quarrels between the neighbours and misbehaviours of any kind. This is the brain child of Mr. M. Sherif who has been the pioneer of social service in the name of janasevak for the last 3 decades. The United Nations and other world organizations will project this concept as model for rest of world. The Selfless service brings heart warming satisfactions and volunteers pour into this concept for their own pride of participation in the service of common man and the entire nation.
